Asheena Johnson Bio- My work experience also includes banking, radio programming and hosting, re-entry and first time offender assistance, grant writing and management and business development. She has worked in the office of the "Public Defender " for the city of "Jersey City " the "County of Hudson" and as an aide to state and local legislators. I also volunteer with various local a d national organizations including, Jersey City, Anti Violence Coalition Movement, Big Brother's Big Sister's, Jersey City Public Safety Advisory.
I met "Julius Jones" after reading an article about his work with "High School Students " in his hometown of "Jersey City" I decided to work with "Julius" because he genuinely cares about the youth in his community and the youth respect him. When he talk's with the youth, he's speaking from his real life experience in the same neighborhoods and school's they're in. This is a critical aspect in anti-violence work. Credibility is extremely important and Julius has proven himself to be a "Credible Messenger "
