Founder Julius Jones- "Teaching Criminal Justice Class" The topic's was about what makes neutral's be in the street's and boy's, girl's and teenager's be apart of a "Gang". It's alot of miss conception of being in a "Gang". From my time in era, I can speak on the depths of it. You couldn't just be on any block, your purpose on being on any street corner even being out in the project's something was broken at home. Parent's maybe on drug's, mama alway's getting high or the boy was always seeing his mother struggle so he felt he need to make some money to help keep them lights on. She working 2 job's in still barely keeping up with rent. So many little girls being touched by they mother's boy friend's, made them start getting high at a young age. Getting pregnant at a very young age, looking for love by time they realize they worth they have multiple kid's. Society called it "Gang" reality it's not the average member's are related to 1 another. It's about survival, many was born into it. It's a culture no different then any other culture that's doing the same. Name 1 culture that's peaceful, name 1 that don't harm and kill they own, name 1 organization that's strictly positive yet those that went through the scars on top of scars. Look at who "Exploding It" many call it a "Lifestyle" " Gang Banging" is a "Death Style" cycle of violence and death. Many don't see no way out, many are product of they environments. Many speak on second chance's, so y everytime anyone with a record fill out application. Your being asked "Felony or No Felony " everyone knows the outcome "87%" of the time. Being it's "Illegal" to just turn anyone down from a job most "Company's " play the waiting game. So they won't get "Sued" then they tell you we sorry, all the "Position's" are filled. Even me doing "Volunteer Work" people I've met they see the potential, see the experience and it's not just a story. I'm not watching just some video tape, documentaries or research. Learn what you maybe giving game then don't respond to text messages, no return phone call's. "Society" speak down on anyone that's involved in the street's, gang's, strippers, prostitutes, drug addictions etc... "We" not the one's promoting it, it's not even private companies that's glorifying it. Everyone marketing off our pain and countless death's. What do we "Own" on a larger scale. It's no different then drug's ending up in every low income communities. You can't expect anyone to see 5 year's from now, when they can't even see pass today. What they going through at home, it's countless kid's fighting just to get to school, fighting making it home from school. Have to take different routes just not get shot or killed going and coming from school. Change start wit not only us, if you take the gang's out the picture. It's still going be the same problems. Longs theirs drug's in our communities, you going have the same results and that's "Reality ". I had a "Stand Ovation " from our future " Lawyers, Prosecutors, Judges". They were being told and taught all everyone do in them "Gangs" "Streets" just raped, sale drug's, shot in kill people. Everyone must unlearn in relearn they way of thinking and "Reality" we didn't ask be put in these conditions.
